The Art Fusion Team is inviting you to take part in the selection process for the 2015 Gibson Street Gala Day, part of the Glasgow West End Festival.
The concept behind Art Fusion comes from the idea of bringing together different disciplines, backgrounds, philosophies, ideas, statements, cultures, interests and skills in a 6hour event where artists learn from each other but also to force creativity out of the Gallery and studio space, face to face with the public.
This year’s Gala Day is on Sunday, May 31st between 12 and 6pm. (Drop off before 9:30am). The theme of the Gala Day is the 5 elements. Fire, Water, Air, Earth (Art Fusion), and Quintessence (Offshore Exhibition)
Due to unforeseen wet weather last year, we have taken it upon ourselves to hire covered stalls at this year’s Gala. We have 2 sizes of stalls, and very limited number of them. The sizes are 3ft x 8ft for £40 (only ten available) and 5ft x 8ft for £50 (only 20 available). All stalls come with a 6ft table. There is an option to select stall size preference on the selection form. Feel free to share your stall with a friend.
All stallholders selected for the Gala Day MUST have valid Public Liability Insurance and will be asked in advance to send a copy to the organizers by email. We are putting links below to two artist PLI providers. Air/AN insurance is done via the Internet and has immediate effect, but please take note that Artist Union takes 1 month for confirmation and processing time. Both are around £36 for 5million cover for 1 year. Most exhibitions and markets require PLI, so it is recommended to purchase anyway.
As always we are hosting a pre-Gala Day exhibition in Offshore, Gibson Street, and an after party in Bohub recording studios. The date for that is 29th of May. The exhibition is free to take part in and runs for a month. A separate email will be set up to deal with submissions for that and will be sent with your confirmation as a stall-holder.

*DEADLINE for submitting the selection form is April 3rd at noon. You will be notified via email before midnight April 10th if you have been or have not been selected. Once selected you will have to pay up front to confirm your stall by April 17th at noon. BACS payment or PayPal details will come with the confirmation letter.
