Please join The Telfer Gallery on the evening of Friday 12th September 2014 between 6-9pm for the preview of ‘Who Built The Access Road?’, a presentation of new solo work by emerging Glasgow based artist, Nick Thomas.
The exhibition is the third of five newly commissioned projects by the gallery as part of our 2014 programme which is supported by MANY Studios and Hope Scott Trust. In 2014 the gallery has so far exhibited new solo presentations from Yuri Pattison (London) in April and Sally Hackett (Glasgow) in June. The 2014 programme will conclude in November with the première UK solo exhibition of Elizabeth Corkery (Boston) and an online project inspired by eBay by Scott Massey.
There will be lots of cocktails on hand courtesy of Stolichnaya… if that helps to sweeten the invite in any way! However, arrive early to make sure you get one!
It is also important to note that the preview on Friday is a public event so please be aware of increased activity in the studios during 6-9pm, especially in the foyer. The gallery and foyer will be staffed during these hours and as always public access will restricted to the foyer, gallery and studio toilets. Please help the gallery staff to keep on top of this by closing over any doors behind you and notifying a member of the gallery team of any problems. There will also be increased activity in the gallery each night this week as the gallery staff install the exhibition.
The exhibition is open until September 28th, Thurs - Sun 12-5pm, for those of you who can not attend on Friday night.
We look forward to seeing you all on Friday!
