Paula Duvå is a Glasgow based photographer, born in 1991 outside Copenhagen, Denmark.
"Before moving here I studied at the Copenhagen School for Film and Photography where upon I found out that making images was what I want to spend all my time doing. Apart from going to schools I have made group exhibitions, collaborative book works and worked with moving image."
"I am concerned about the world that is around me and how it is possible to take part of it. For the past three years I have been engaged in the Copenhagen based Magazine visAvis about asylum, migration and the movement of people across borders making collective, visual and editorial work."
"My main interests lie in the act of looking out. Mainly using photography and moving image I like to focus on a range of themes, such as social structures, personal structures and how they are interwoven, my surroundings and the world around me, also the physical distances between people, countries, borders and the narration of the people on another side of the border."
