Kevin Low lives and works as a full time artist in Glasgow with his wife and two teenage boys.
"I'm a figurative artist, painting digitally. My work is narrative and biographical. I work in a world of small Angus towns and the fields of high grass and weeds that surround them. This is where I grew up and where I return time and again, resurrecting lost moment, making them tangible and pretty. The work is often about loss, the passing of time, the struggle with remembering exactly - how much do we tidy and polish our memories?"
You can see Kevin's work at the Royal Scottish Academy, both 'Paradise' and 'Still Life with Parrots' have been chosen to be part of their Open Exhibition which starts from 29th November until the 20th January 2015. His work can also be seen in the Smithy Gallery from the 23rd of November until the 11 of January and at the Glasgow Print Studio as part of their Winter show opens on the 27th and runs until January.
